Matt Templeton

Matt Templeton is an artist, designer and educator. His work has been exhibited internationally, received critical acclaim and is in various collections and publications. A well-known proponent of Design Thinking and its application in a variety of settings, Matt has worked as a designer with businesses of all shapes and sizes. He is currently the Senior Director of Innovation at Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts, after serving as Innovation Catalyst at Fidelity Investments. He has also taught a wide range of courses in art and design at many different schools including Rhode Island School of Design, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he has served as a professor and Design Thinking Catalyst-in-Residence for the Industrial Design program. Matt’s embedded studio class at Blue Cross Blue Shield has drawn widespread attention among design educators and in the business community. Matt holds a B.F.A. from the Art Institute of Boston and a M.F.A. from the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London.
