Embodied Stress Resiliency
Stress holds both a threat and an opportunity. Working under stress can lead to constricted thinking, damaging behavior, and poor physical health long-term. Stress is also an intrinsic part of a meaningful life – there’s no stress if you don’t care. Plus, stress holds the potential to forge strong relationships, shape a growth mindset, and support our capacity to perform well.
Resilience comes not when we are free from stress, but when we have the tools to meet the reality of stress and move through it skillfully. This keynote explores the real story behind stress, and the tools we have inside to meet the demands with more intention, well-being, and high performance.
You’ll be inspired with a new worldview, one that gives you the choice and power to engage in life more fully, even in tough times. You’ll be challenged to go beyond the cognitive-only approach into an evidence-based approach that leverages the whole person, body and mind.
In this way, you shift stress from a threat into an opportunity for mindfulness and meaning at work.
